O'Brien's Faster Blaster has been pressure washing out of Cole Harbour since 1997. Family owned, fully mobile, and kept busy by word of mouth for nearly three decades. Their line is simple: if it needs to be cleaned, they clean it. Until 2026 they had almost nothing online. This is how we built them a proper web presence from the ground up.

The challenge

Nearly thirty years of good work had given O'Brien's a strong name with the people who already knew them. Google was a different story. Newer pressure washing outfits with fresh websites were showing up ahead of them, even though some of those companies had been around a fraction as long.

Here is the part most owners never hear. Google does not know you have been in business since 1997 unless your profile and your website say so. Years in business is not what decides the map pack either. Distance, your primary category and your reviews do most of that work. A company with no site, a thin profile and few reviews will lose to a newer one that has all three, no matter who does the better job.

The work itself made it trickier. O'Brien's does heavy commercial cleaning across the whole province, like quarries, fleet yards, heavy equipment and haul trucks. They also wash houses and decks, but only in HRM. One generic page could never speak to a quarry manager and a homeowner in Dartmouth at the same time.

What we did

We started with the basics and did them properly. First came a fast, mobile-first website in the company's own green and black. The top of the home page says plainly what they clean and where they do it.

Then we built the pages around what people actually type into Google. Someone searching "house washing Halifax" lands on a page about house washing in Halifax. A fleet manager searching "fleet washing Nova Scotia" lands on a page about fleet washing across the province. Commercial and residential each got their own section, so the right person finds the right page.

Off the site, we set up the Google Business Profile with the right primary category, since that one setting carries a lot of weight in the map pack. We also built citations with the same name, address and phone number everywhere, so Google sees one business instead of three slightly different ones.

Last, we gave the owner an easy way to ask for reviews. The first few are the hardest to ask for, so we turned it into a short text they can send after each job.

What is in the site

  • Commercial service pages for fleet washing, heavy equipment and quarry work, covering the whole province.
  • Residential pages for house washing, siding and decks, for customers in HRM.
  • Click to call and a quote form on every page, so a customer can reach O'Brien's from wherever they land.
  • A clear note that the company is insured and WCB covered, which commercial customers want to see.

We were also straight about what O'Brien's does not do. No gutters and no parking lots. Saying so up front saves everybody a phone call that goes nowhere.

What comes next

The site went live in 2026, so this is a build story, not a results story. Rankings and calls take time, and we will not put numbers on this page until there are real ones to show.

From here it is steady work. More reviews after every wash. The profile kept current. The site and the listings all saying the same thing. That is how a company with nearly thirty years of good work starts getting credit for it online.

If you have been in business for years and newer names are beating you on Google, the fix usually looks a lot like this. Read why established companies get passed on Google, or see how we handle marketing for pressure washing companies. Get Found is $1,500 a month and Dominate is $2,500 a month, with no setup fee and no contracts. Or start with a free audit and see where you stand.

What this costs to run

Nothing on this page is a one-off. It is the same play we run in every program, and the prices are posted. Get Found is $1,500 a month and covers the audit, the profile, the on-page work, citations and the reporting. Dominate is $2,500 and adds AI search, AI lead capture and the automated review system. Market Leader covers a whole region with a 24/7 receptionist on top and is priced to your market. All month to month, no setup fee.

Want results like these?

Every shop is different, but the playbook is proven. Grab a free audit and we will show you exactly where you stand and what it would take.
