A clean, bold logo is the first thing customers judge you on, on the truck, the sign, the shirt and your Google profile. We build one that says you do good work before you say a word.
Branding built for the trades.
- Custom Logo. A bold, original mark designed for your trade, not a clip-art template.
- Looks Right Everywhere. Sharp on a truck door, a business card, a hard hat or a phone screen.
- Colours & Fonts. A simple brand kit so everything you put out looks like the same company.
- Truck & Signage Ready. Print-ready files for wraps, lawn signs, shirts and decals.
- Web & Social Ready. Versions sized for your website, Google profile and social pages.
- You Own It. Full files handed over. Your logo, yours to keep, forever.
From forgettable to unmistakable.
Customers size you up in seconds, and a cheap or dated logo quietly tells them you might do cheap or dated work. A sharp one does the opposite: it makes a one-truck shop look like the established name in town.
We design you a bold, simple logo that works as well on a lawn sign as it does on a phone screen, then hand you every file you need to put it everywhere. One look, used everywhere, so people start to recognize you.
A logo is a one-time job, not a monthly one. Once it is done, getting you found is the part that runs every month, and that starts with the Get Found program at $1,500. Dominate and Market Leader build on top of it.
What makes a good logo for a trade business?
A good contractor logo is simple. People should be able to read your name and know what you do in a couple of seconds. That's the whole job.
It should look like it belongs to your trade. An excavation outfit and a pressure washing company shouldn't have the same look. When we do logo design for contractors, the mark is drawn for your work, not pulled from a template site that sold the same shovel icon to a hundred other companies.
It also has to hold up. Your logo is going to sit on a lot of things for a lot of years, so it needs to be clean enough to work big, small, in colour and in plain black.
Why can't a construction company logo look like a cafe logo?
A cafe logo lives on a cup and a sign above the door. People are standing still when they see it. Yours gets seen from the next lane over at 80 km/h. A construction company logo has to read from a moving truck, which means big shapes, a name you can make out at a glance, and nothing fussy.
It has to work in one colour. A hard hat sticker, a stamped invoice or a cheap run of decals won't always print your full colour version. If the logo falls apart in black and white, it's not done.
And it has to survive being embroidered. Thin lines, tiny text and soft gradients turn to mush on a shirt or a toque. We design with that in mind from the start, so your crew shirts look as sharp as your truck door.
What are the most common logo mistakes contractors make?
Too much going on. A house, a hammer, a leaf, a water drop and a swoosh all in one mark. Pick one idea and let it breathe.
Text that's too small or too fancy. Script fonts look nice on a screen and you can't read them on a lawn sign from the road. Same with a tagline crammed under the name.
Only having one file. Lots of guys have a logo that lives as a blurry picture on their phone. Then the sign shop asks for a vector file and nobody has it. That costs you time and money every time you order something.
Chasing whatever looks trendy this year. Your logo is going on trucks and signs you'll be using for a long time. A plain, strong mark that still looks right ten years from now beats something that feels dated by next spring. Boring and clear wins over clever and confusing in this business.
How does the logo process work?
It starts with a conversation. We talk about your trade, the work you want more of, and what you already have on the go, like truck colours or shirts you've already paid for. If your current logo has some good bones, we can refresh it instead of starting over.
Then we put together a custom mark and show it to you on the stuff it'll actually live on, like a truck door and a lawn sign. That way you're judging it the way your customers will see it, not as a little picture on a white screen.
You tell us what's working and what isn't, we tighten it up, and once you're happy we build out the full set of files. A logo is a one-time job and we quote it on its own. It's not tied to any monthly program.
What do I get when the logo is finished?
You get the original mark plus a simple brand kit with your colours and fonts written down, so the sign shop, the wrap guy and the printer all match.
You get print-ready files for truck wraps, lawn signs, shirts, hard hats and decals, plus web and social versions sized for your site and your pages.
And you own every file outright. No licence, no asking us for permission later. It's your logo.
How does a logo fit with my website and Google profile?
Your logo shows up everywhere a customer checks you out. Truck doors, lawn signs, your website, your Google Business Profile, your social pages, your shirts, even your invoices and quotes. When it all matches, people remember you and trust you a bit more before they ever call.
That's why contractor branding works best when it's tied into the rest of your marketing. The same logo and colours go straight onto your website, your Google Business Profile and your social pages.
A logo on its own won't make the phone ring. Getting found on Google is a separate job. If you want both, our monthly programs handle the rest: Get Found is $1,500 a month, Dominate is $2,500 a month, and Market Leader is priced per market. No setup fee and no contracts. You can see how it all comes together on our work page.
