Social media, handled for you.

Social media, handled for you.

You are too busy on the tools to be posting all day. We turn your real jobs into steady posts that keep you in front of local customers and build the trust that wins work.

Posts that actually get you work.

  • Done For You. You send a few job photos, we handle the posts. No app, no hassle.
  • Your Real Work. Before-and-afters and finished jobs, not stock photos or filler.
  • In Your Voice. Captions that sound like you, not a marketing robot.
  • Posted Consistently. A steady schedule so you stay top of mind, week after week.
  • Local Reach. Aimed at the towns and customers you actually want to book.
  • Builds Trust. A full, active page tells a stranger you are the real deal.

Your work, seen by the right people.

When someone hears your name, the first thing they do is look you up. An empty or dead social page plants a seed of doubt. A page full of sharp, recent work does the opposite, it closes the deal before you ever talk.

We make that easy. You snap a few photos on the job, we turn them into clean, consistent posts in your voice and keep them coming. You stay visible to local customers without ever touching the apps.

Google posts are in every plan from Get Found up, twice a month at $1,500 and weekly once you are on Dominate. Social media management is priced on its own so you only pay for the channels you actually want.

Do contractors actually get work from social media?

Some do. But be honest about how it works. Nobody scrolls Facebook at night hoping to find a guy to regrade their driveway. When they need the work done, they ask a neighbour or they search Google. That's the honest truth about social media for contractors.

Where social media earns its keep is what happens next. Someone hears your name, then goes looking. If your page has real jobs on it, posted recently, from towns they know, you look like a busy outfit that does good work. If the last post is from three years ago, they start to wonder if you're still in business.

So think of it as proof, not a lead faucet. It backs up the referral, the truck sign and the Google search. For the stuff that actually brings in new calls, look at your Google Business Profile and your reviews first. Social media makes both of those work harder.

What should a contractor post on social media?

Real work. Before and after shots, the finished job, the crew on site, the truck and the gear. Never stock photos. People can spot a stock photo of a smiling guy in a spotless hard hat from across the room, and it tells them you had nothing of your own to show.

The before and after is the best thing you've got. A muddy yard turned into a finished patio. A rotten deck torn out and built new. You don't need to explain much. The photo does the talking.

Your crew matters too. People are letting you onto their property, sometimes into their house. Seeing the faces of the guys who'll show up makes that easier. Same with the truck. When they see it in their neighbourhood later, they already know the name on the door.

Mention the town. A post about a job down the road lands differently than one that could be from anywhere. That's what good social media management for construction companies comes down to: local proof from the places you actually work. You can see the kind of thing we mean on our work page.

How often do I need to post?

Steady beats busy. A few good posts a month, every month, does more than twenty posts in May and nothing until Christmas. When someone checks your page, they want to see you're working now.

That's the hard part for most contractors. In the busy season you're too slammed to post. In the slow season you've got nothing new to show. So it falls off.

That's the gap we fill. You send a few photos from the job when you get a second, even straight from your phone in the truck. We write the captions in your voice, design the posts, and get them out on a steady schedule. You don't have to remember, and you don't have to sit down and write anything.

Each caption is short and plain. What the job was, where it was, maybe the one thing that made it tricky. No pile of hashtags, no hype. Just the kind of thing you'd say if a neighbour asked about it over the fence.

Which platforms should a construction company be on?

For most trades it's Facebook and Instagram, plus your Google Business Profile. That covers where homeowners around here are actually looking.

Facebook is where a lot of local word of mouth happens now. Community groups, neighbours tagging each other, people asking who did their buddy's driveway. Instagram is where the photos look their best, and some homeowners check there first.

You don't need to be on everything. We'd rather do two or three channels properly than spread thin across six and have them all look half done.

Whatever channels you pick, the posts are aimed at the towns you actually work in. If you only take jobs within an hour of home, there's no point showing your work to people three provinces away.

How do Google posts fit in with social media?

Google posts go on your Google Business Profile, the listing that shows up with the map when someone searches your trade and their town. They sit right where people are deciding who to call, which makes them a bit different from a Facebook post.

Google posts are already included in our monthly programs. Get Found at $1,500 a month includes 2 Google posts a month. Dominate at $2,500 a month includes them weekly.

The same job photos can feed both. A finished retaining wall can be a Google post and a Facebook post in the same week, written a bit differently for each. One set of photos from you, more places your work shows up.

What does social media for contractors cost?

Social media management is priced on its own, separate from the monthly programs. That way you only pay for the channels you want. If you just want Facebook kept up, you're not paying for anything else.

There's no setup fee and no contract. If it's not worth it to you, you stop. We'd rather keep you because the work is good than because you signed something.

The price depends on which channels you pick, so the easiest way to get a number is to talk it through. Call (902) 292-5699 or book a call.

How do I get started?

The easiest first step is a free audit. We look at what's out there now: your Facebook page, your Instagram, your Google listing, and what someone sees when they search for you. You get a straight answer on what's missing and what's worth fixing first.

Sometimes social media isn't the first thing to fix. If your Google listing is a mess or you've got no reviews, we'll tell you that, and you can start there instead.

RankWright is based in Halifax and works with contractors across Atlantic Canada. It's owner operated, so when you call, you're talking to the guy doing the work. If you're after contractor social media in Halifax or anywhere else in Atlantic Canada, give us a call.

Questions

Straight answers.

Do I have to make the content myself?
No. You send a few photos from the job, we do the rest, the writing, the design and the posting.
Which platforms do you post to?
Wherever your customers are, usually Facebook and Instagram, plus your Google profile. We keep them all consistent.
Will it sound like me?
Yes. We set the captions in your voice, plain and real, not the cheesy marketing tone everyone scrolls past.
Do I have to take good photos?
No. Phone photos are fine. Take them in daylight if you can, get the whole job in the frame, and grab a before shot when you show up. That's the one most guys forget. If a photo is a bit dark or crooked we'll crop and brighten it. We just won't swap in stock photos for yours.
Can I post a job I did on a customer's property?
Ask the customer first. Most people don't mind, especially if you leave out the house number and anything that shows exactly where they live. A wide shot of the finished patio is usually fine. A shot with the street sign and their car in the driveway is not. When in doubt, keep it general and just name the town.
What do I post in the winter when work slows down?
Winter is a good time to post. You've got a full season of job photos sitting on your phone. We spread those out over the slow months so your page stays active while you're not on site as much. When spring comes and people start calling around, they see a business that never went quiet.
